  스튜디오 시티 벤투라 블러바드에 위치한 솔트 앤 스트로는 로스앤젤레스 최고의 아이스크림 가게 중 하나라고 해도 과언이 아닙니다. 모든 아이스크림은 정성과 창의성을 담아 직접 만들며, 아이스크림을 단순한 먹는 행위 이상의 특별한 경험으로 만들어줍니다. 식감은 완벽합니다. 크리미하면서도 묵직하지 않고, 맛은 항상 바뀌기 때문에 저 같은 단골들은 새로운 맛을 기대하며 계속해서 찾아옵니다. 특히 이맘때쯤이면 할로윈 시즌에 나오는 아이스크림은 정말 독특합니다. "으스스한 곤충들(Creepy Crawly Critters)" 맛에는 초콜릿으로 코팅된 메뚜기와 밀웜이 들어있으니 조심하세요. 저는 그 대담함에 오히려 감탄했습니다. 하지만 제 최애 아이스크림은 단연 솔티드 몰티드 초콜릿 칩 쿠키 도우입니다. 짭짤함과 달콤함의 완벽한 조화에, 진한 베이스에 몰트와 초콜릿이 은은하게 어우러져 환상적인 맛을 선사합니다. 그 외에도 허니 라벤더, 씨 솔트 위드 카라멜 리본, 아르베키나 올리브 오일 등 재료에 얼마나 심혈을 기울이는지 알 수 있는 맛들이 많습니다. 직원들은 쾌활하고 원하는 만큼 시식해 보라고 권해줘서 매번 방문할 때마다 마치 작은 모험을 하는 기분이에요. 솔트 앤 스트로는 진정한 동네 보석 같은 곳으로, 칼로리가 아깝지 않고 일부러 찾아갈 만한 가치가 충분합니다. 별 다섯 개 만점에 다섯 개!

  Salt & Straw on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City is easily one of the best ice cream shops in Los Angeles, and that is saying something. Everything here is homemade with the kind of care and creativity that turns ice cream into an experience. The texture is perfect—creamy and dense without being heavy—and the flavors are always changing, keeping regulars like me coming back to see what’s new. This time of year, the Halloween flavors are a wild ride. Be warned, the “Creepy Crawly Critters” flavor actually includes chocolate-covered grasshoppers and mealworms, which I appreciated more for the audacity than the appetite. For me, though, the all-time favorite remains the Salted, Malted, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. It hits that perfect balance of salty and sweet, with ribbons of malt and chocolate woven through a rich base. Other standouts include Honey Lavender, Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons, and Arbequina Olive Oil, all of which show how seriously they take their ingredients. The staff is cheerful and encourages you to taste as many as you want, which makes each visit feel like a mini adventure. Salt & Straw is a true neighborhood gem—worth every calorie and absolutely worth the trip. Five shining stars.

  이곳은 아이스크림 업계의 아이비리그 같은 곳이에요. 최고급 품질과 풍미를 자랑하는, 지금까지 맛본 아이스크림 중 가장 훌륭한 곳입니다. 서비스는 정말 최고로 친절하고 전문적이에요. 작은 금속 스푼 샘플러에 원하는 만큼 다양한 맛을 시식해 볼 수 있어요. 블루치즈 배, 올리브 오일, 라벤더 꿀 등 독특하고 기발한 맛들이 정말 많아요. 저는 시나몬 츄러스와 쫀득한 초콜릿 브라우니를 먹어봤어요.

  This place is like the Ivy League of the icecream world. The most prestigious icecream with top quality & flavor you’ll ever have. The service is out of this world amazing and professional. They let you try as many flavors as you want in little metal spoon samplers. The wild flavors are so unique ; blue cheese pear , olive oil, lavender honey etc. I had the cinnamon churro & gooey chocolate brownie.

  체인점이지만 수제 아이스크림도 만들고 정말 맛있어요. 제가 정말 좋아하는 맛도 몇 가지 있어요. 로테이션 메뉴에 좋아하는 맛 코너가 있을 수도 있지만, 분명 기분 좋아지게 해줄 멋진 대체품이 있을 거예요.

  It’s a chain but, they do make craft ice cream and it’s pretty amazing. There’s several flavors I really enjoy. Their rotational menu might see your favorite flavor department but, I’m sure there will be an amazing substitute to cheer you up

  아이스크림도 맛있고 직원분들도 친절했어요! 다만 매장이 좀 좁아서 포장해서 가져가는 게 더 나을 것 같아요. 사람이 좀 많아서 대기 시간도 꽤 길었어요. 그래도 전반적으로 추천합니다.

  Great ice cream and friendly staff! Very limited space though so more of a “to-go” place. Ended up a bit crowded with a decent wait. But overall, I definitely recommend it.
